STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher uses try to be an obedient child song to introduce the topic.

She explains that a hunter is someone who kills animals in the bush in order to eat or sell them

While a farmer is someone who plants crops in order to eat them or sell them

EXPLANATION

She then further explains that Cain and Abel were the sons of Adam and Eve. Cain was a farmer while Abel was a hunter

DEMONSTRATION

Using the bible story books and the pictures there in she tells the story of Cain and Abel

-      They both went to offer sacrifices to God from what they produce

-      Cain picked used rotten food items to prepare his on sacrifice

-      Abel used a fattened calf to prepare his own sacrifice

-      God rejected Cain’s sacrifice and accepted Abel’s

-      Cain killed his brother out of jealousy

NOTE

Cain and Abel were the children of Adam and Eve. Cain was a farmer. Abel was a hunter. They both offered sacrifices to God. God accepted Abel’s own and rejected Cain’s. Out of jealousy, Cain killed his brother.
