STEP 1 INTRODUCTION	The teacher uses the how many fingers do you have rhyme and introduces the topic and explains that every hand has five fingers. She tells them that it means the two hands have ten fingers	Pupils pay attention
STEP 2 IDENTIFICATION	The teacher tells them what we use the fingers for: - Washing - Writing - Beating the drum etc	Pupils participate
STEP 3 DRAWING AND COLOURING	The teacher shares out their books for them to trace their five fingers as she traces hers on the board	The pupils draw and colour following the leading of the teacher
