  1. Read and identify alphabet letter A-L
  2. Write and associate A-L with objects

Instructional Material: Letter charts, flash cards

Instructional Techniques: Repetition, explanation, question and answers 

Entry Behaviour: The pupils can recite alphabet rhyme

Set Induction: The teacher uses alphabet rhyme to arouse them

Periods I: Reading/ Identification of alphabet letters A-L

Evaluation: The teacher asks the following question

Periods II AND III: Associating A-L with objects

The teacher draws objects on the board and associate them with objects A-L

 

 

Evaluation: The teacher evaluates them by asking these questions

(1) Colour and match objects with the correct letter

             

Conclusion: She marks their books and corrects where necessary

 

Periods IV AND V: Writing A-L
