  3. Write letters E-H

Instructional Material: Letter charts, flash cards

Instructional Techniques: Repetition, explanation, question and answers 

Entry Behaviour: The pupils can recite alphabet rhyme

Set Induction: The teacher uses alphabet rhyme to arouse them

Identification of letters E and writing

The teacher presents a flash card and introduces letter E. she drills the pupils on the E and teaches them how to write letter E

Pupils identify the letter E

Identification of letters F,G,H

The teacher with a chart, identifies letters F, G, H. drills the pupils and teach how to write these letters.

Pupils identify these letter and write them

Association

Association of letters E-H with objects

 

Evaluation: (1) the teacher asks them to sort out letters E, F, G, H

                   (2) Write letters E- H
