STEP 1 INTRODUCTION	-The teacher uses the colours song to introduce the new topic She explains that colour is what we see when light shines upon an object	Pupils pay attention
STEP 2 IDENTIFICATION	The teacher shows them different objects having the primary colours- red, yellow and blue	Pupils draw and colour a tree following what the teacher does
STEP 3 DEMONSTRATION	She brings different objects within the classroom; books, seats, curtains, markers, schools bags, etc And ask the children to identify their colours one after the other

EVALUATION: Identify the colours of each of the following shapes

CLASSWORK: As in evaluation

CONCLUSION: The teacher commends the pupils positively
