STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher introduces the topic with the animal song;

 

She explains that a tree is a fruit bearing plant

 

She tells them the different types of birds there are: mango trees, orange trees etc

The pupils pay attention and participate

STEP 2

EXPLANATION

The teacher explains the rhymes and shows them a drawn nut tree.

 

She also explains the wordings one after the other

Pupils listen

STEP 3

RECITATION

The teacher recites the rhyme as many times as possible and asks the pupils to do same.

I had a little nut tree
Nothing would it bear
But a silver nutmeg
And a golden pear

 

 

EVALUATION:    1. I had a little _______ tree.

CONCLUSION: The teacher corrects and applauds the pupils
