WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEM
Microsoft windows, generally referred to as windows, is an operating system based on a graphical user interface (GUI), produced by Microsoft. The operating system is what allows you to use a computer. Microsoft windows work with GUI which enables us to give commands to the computer by clicking on icons, menus and buttons using a pointing device like the mouse.
Many modern PCs have windows operating system preloaded on them, making it the most widely used operating system in the world. Windows operating system is first installed on a hard disk.
To start windows, switch on the computer and windows will start to load in the computer's memory. When loading is completed, the first screen that will be displayed is called "desktop". When desktop appears, the windows is ready to be operational.
