CRIMES AND NATIONAL SECURITY

Crime is the intentional commission of an act usually deemed socially harmful or dangerous and specifically defined, prohibited, and punishable under criminal law.

National security is the means by which an environment, properties and life within a nation is secured and protected from destruction. It can also be explained as a means of preventing and controlling loss of people and money within a nation.

The methods adopted may be through surveillance, patrol, information gathering and devices for detection.
