AGRICULTURE IN STOCK EXCHANGE

A stock exchange is a marketplace, where financial securities issued by companies are bought and sold.

 

SOME TERMS USED IN STOCK EXCHANGE

  1. Shares are units of equity ownership in a corporation.
  2. A shareholder is a person, company, or institution that owns at least one share of a company's stock or in a mutual fund. Shareholders essentially own the company, which comes with certain rights and responsibilities. This type of ownership allows them to reap the benefits of a business's success.
  3. Stockbrokers are individuals who buy and sell stocks and other securities for retail and institutional clients, through a stock exchange or over the counter, in return for a fee or a commission
  4. A stock is a general term used to describe the ownership certificates of any company.
