EXPORT PROMOTION IN AGRICULURE

Trade promotion (sometimes referred to as export promotion) is an umbrella term for economic policies, development interventions and private initiatives aimed at improving the trade performance of agriculture.

 

EXPORT PROMOTION ACTIVITIES
1. Identification of products and markets- processed foods such as flour, powdered spices, etc

2. Location of new investment opportunities
3. Provision of trade information
4. Provision of support services
5. Organizing trade fairs and trade missions
