IMPORTANCE OF PHYSICAL FITNESS
1. It promotes efficient performance of physical and motor activities

  5. It helps one to adapt better to stress and one is not easily fatigued

FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE PHYSICAL FITNESS
1. HEREDITY: It refers to peculiar traits contained in genes that can be transferred from parents to their children

  1. NUTRITION: The type of food one eats affects one’s physical fitness
  2. EXPOSURE TO TRAINING: Extent of previous training and chances of practicing and participating in sporting activities affects one’s physical fitness
  3. REST AND RELAXATION: Proper rest improves one’s physical fitness
  4. REGULAR EXERCISE: Regular exercise improves one’s physical fitness
  5. AGE: As we grow older, our physical fitness is affected a lot.
  6. STRESS AND TENSION: stress and tension have negative effects on a person’s physical fitness
  7. GENDER: Men and women are completely different in the levels of their physical fitness.
