CONCEPT OF DIGITAL DIVIDE
OLD ECONOMY
Old economy is a term used for describing the economy in the early parts of the 21st century during the industrial revolution. The old economy relied on agriculture and later industrialization as a source of economic growth. The old economy made no use of ICT tool instead it was powered manual labour and steam engines towards the later part of the 21st century.
