CAUSES OF CULTISM

  1. Peer influence
  2. Evil desire for money and power
  3. a quest for safety and security

 

EFFECTS OF CULTISM

  1. Breakdown of law and order in the society
  2. destruction of properties
  3. untimely death and maiming of the members of the cult group by other factions
  4. bullying and abuse of the fundamental human rights of others.

 

PUNISHMENT FOR CULTISM

Anyone found to be a member of a cult group is liable to 21years imprisonment. Same punishment applies to those who attend meetings of a cult group.

 

CAUSES OF DRUG ABUSE

  1. Illiteracy and poor education
  2. high cost of healthcare services
  3. peer influence
  4. poverty
  5. quest for self-confidence
  6. need to stay awake
  7. Easy access to drugs

 

EFFECTS OF DRUG ABUSE
1. Mental breakdown/disorder

  1. untimely death
  2. Organ failures and failing health
  3. loss of jobs thereby reducing the working population
  4. increase in crime rate
  5. dent to the image of the country
  6. societal breakdown
  7. increase in road accidents

 

PUNISHMENT FOR DRUG ABUSE

The punishment shall be an imprisonment of not less than 15 years and not more than 25 years.
