RECREATION, LEISURE AND DANCE

Dance is a performance consisting of purposefully selected sequence of human movement.

 

CLASSIFICATION OF DANCE

  1. solo dance: this is a dance done by just one person
  2. Partner dance: this is a dance done by two people
  3. Group dance: this is a dance done by more than two persons

 

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN RECREATION, LEISURE AND DANCE

  1. Leisure is done during spare time
  2. Recreation is done to derive pleasure and have fun during leisure time
  3. Recreation is also done to recharge our energy levels during leisure time
  4. Dance is a physical activity done with the parts of the body

 

BENEFITS OF RECREATION AND DANCE
