Features of modal verbs 1. Negative sentences are formed by the addition of ‘not’ after the modal verb. Examples a. Interrogative sentences(question) are formed by inverting(reversing the order or position of) the subject and the modal verb Examples a. The boys can swim b. Can the boys swim? |
