HUMAN ACTIVITIES THAT AFFECT THE FOREST

  1. Bush burning: it destroys our forest and the tree species. It also depletes wild life
  2. Hunting and Poaching: Poaching is the illegal hunting of animals in the forest. Hunting actually disturbs the ecological habitat and causes imbalance in the ecosystem
  3. Deforestation: this is the felling of trees or destruction of forest. This reduces the population of wild plants and animals and equally exposes the soil to erosion menace
  4. Industrialization and Hunting: the forest trees are destroyed when the land is cleared for lumbering and industrial activity
  5. Farming activities: During crop production or animal grazing, trees are cleared or felled and this affects the forest
