SPORTS AND SOCIETY
Sports is a competitive activity through physical exertions with prescribed rules and regulations by individuals towards achieving set goals
Society is any particular group of people who organize themselves according to an agreed system, hold certain values and customs in common, and feel a special relationship towards one another.
The society likes sports competitions. The place of sports in education has been largely determined by society rather than educators. People are interested in a sport because society has accepted its importance rather than because if the contributions the sports makes to them as individuals
