Why are we all wasting our time here? 2. Alliteration: This is the repetition of consonant sounds in two or more words on the same line. Examples a. Mary married a man with merry eyes b. You lifted the lovely little girl 3. Repetition: This means the repetition of words for emphasis. 4.
