EFFECTS OF LAND POLLUTION

  1. It causes diseases like cancer, leukemia, etc
  2. It increases the risk of damage to the kidney
  3. it can affect the metabolism of microorganisms and arthropods
  4. It can affect the biodiversity of soil, loss of topsoil, water nutrient

enrichment

  1. It increases risk of wildfires (because of the dry conditions created by the

pollutants in the soil) are among the consequences of land pollution.

 

EFFECTS OF WATER POLLUTION

  1. Destruction of biodiversity. Water pollution depletes aquatic ecosystems
  2. Contamination of the food chain.
  3. Lack of potable water.
  4. Disease.
  5. Infant mortality

 

EFFECTS OF AIR POLLUTION

  1. Exposure to high levels of air pollution can cause a variety of adverse

health outcomes.

lung cancer.
