1.   Address of the writer and date: this is written at the top right side

2.   Designation and full address of the receiver: this is written at the left side just below the date

3.   Salutation/greeting: Dear Sir or Madam. This comes immediately after the second address or recipient’s address. Emotions should not be displayed here.

4.   Title: It should go straight to the point.

5.   The body of the letter

6.   Closure: Yours faithfully, your signature and your full name

Do not use Yours sincerely, Yours truly etc. Use only Yours faithfully.
