USES OF FARM STRUCTURES

USES OF FARM BUILDINGS

  1. protecting farm supplies, products, animals and farm workers from

thieves and farm animals

  3. serves as a centre for coordinating, controlling and organizing farming

MAINTENANCE FOR FARM STRUCTURES AND FARM BUILDINGS

  1. floor space should be swept regularly
  2. mowing parts and joints should be lubricated
  3. fences should be repaired as soon as they are destroyed
  4. cracks on the wall should be patched as soon as possible
  5. silos should be coated with aluminium to avoid rust and light reflection
  6. dams and ponds should be occasionally dredged to maintain good water

level

  1. feeding and drinking troughs should be cleaned often
  2. coal-tar or solignum should be used to paint wooden parts
