INTEGRITY

NEEDS FOR PEOPLE OF INTEGRITY

  1. Community development: community development arises when people of a particular locality come to identify discuss and agree on any felt need of their community. Such needs can be a project in the form of health centers, schools, market, pipe borne Waters, roads, electricity, etc. These projects can be done only when people of integrity in the community handle the project in terms of planning fund raising and execution.
  2. Peace co-existence: People from different geographical, political, religious and other background finds communities blessed with people of integrity, a fertile environment for living. The presence of people of integrity in that environment or community ensures peace law and order.
  3. Reference point: men of integrity are always regarded as reference point because of their rare quality that makes to stand out of the crowd as good examples of people who are organized and well behaved.
  4. Attraction of personalities of their likes: People of integrity attract personalities of their likes who are friends, partners, or contemporaries from other communities into their own locality for the purpose of supporting them financially and otherwise.
  5. Resource persons: people of integrity can serve as teachers, lecturers or those who give talks in schools, workshops, seminars etc. They can speak on bad effects of wrong behavior amongst youth and those that transmit such behavior to them.

 

IMPORTANCE OF INTEGRITY

  1. It make the citizens honest in all aspect of their living
  2. It bring about total commitment in whatever they do
  3. It raises the standard of morality in the society
  4. The society of people of integrity witness rapid development because honest people occupy leadership position
  5. People of integrity produce work of highest quality and posses excellent behaviour
  6. It makes people have confidence in what they do
  7. It provides role model for the coming generation
