GRAPHIC PACKAGES

MS PAINT-THE MENU BAR

When you open the Microsoft paint, you will see the menu bar and other features. It is the area where various types of sub-menus are available.

The Menus appear directly beneath the title bar but in newer versions, the tabs are on top of the window as compared to older versions.

To bring up a menu in its entirety, just click on the Menu’s heading, and the rest of the menu will pull down.

The Menu Bar The menu bar consists of the following menus:

  1. File Menu is for creating a new file, saving, printing, setting as desktop background, etc.
  2. Edit Menu is for undoing, redoing, copying, pasting, etc.
  3. View Menu is for displaying the toolbox, colour box, status bar, text toolbar, zooming, and viewing bitmap.
  4. Image is used for flipping, stretching, and inverting colours, among others.
  5. Colours is for editing colours.
  6. Help provides comprehensive help about the Paint program.
