NOTE

Some offences are penalized by the award of an indirect free kick

  1. Playing in a manner considered by the referee to be dangerous
  2. Charging fairly i.e with the shoulder, when the ball is not within playing distance of the players concerned
  3. When not playing the ball, intentionally obstructing an opponent i.e running between the opponent and the ball
  4. Charging the goal keeper except when:
  5. is holding the ball
  6. is obstructing an opponent
  7. has passed outside his goal area
  8. When playing as a goal keeper, a player:
  9. takes more than four steps whilst holding, bouncing or throwing te ball in the air and catching it again without releasing it
  10. indulges in tactics which in the opinion of the referee are designed merely to hold up the game
