MANAGEMENT/ENTREPENEURSHIP

This refers to the persons or group of persons that organize and coordinates the human and material resources in the production of goods and services. The entrepreneur can also be referred to as the innovator, risk taker or decision maker who is responsible for coordinating the other factors of production

THE ROLE OF THE ENTREPRENEUR

  1. risk bearer- he bears the risk associated with the business
  2. Provision of capital- he provides the capital required for the running of the business
  3. Decision maker – he has the responsibility of taking major policy decision and ensures that the decisions are carried out.
  4. Management and control- He sees to the day-to-day running of the business.
