NOTE

CAPITAL

It refers to any man-made tool or price of equipment that aids man in the production of goods and services. It comprises of machinery, equipment, building, tractors and motor vehicle referred to as fixed capital. Money on the other hand is referred to as liquid capital. The return is called INTEREST.

Characteristics of capital

  1. capital takes different forms
  2. capital is man-made and is accumulated through human efforts
  3. capital may be in a fixed asset or even as cash at hand
