NATIONAL CONSCIOUSNESS AND NATIONAL IDENTITY
COAT OF ARMS
This is the national logo or the official stamp of the nation. It was adopted in 1960 when Nigeria became independent. It was designed by Michael Akinkumi in 1959 alongside the National flag. It symbolises unity in diversity. There are seven permanent features of Nigerian coat of arms.
