NOTE

FOOD, NUTRIENT AND NUTRITION

Food is anything a person or animal eats to survive or supply needed energy.

Nutrients are chemical compounds present in food.

Nutrition is the process by which the body takes in and utilizes food.

 

TYPES OF FOOD

Meat, turkey, chicken, rice, eggs, fish, wheat, bread, beans, nuts, baby formula, cheese, butter etc
