STRUCTURE OF THE ROAD SAFETY CLUBS

  1. President- One person must be appointed to preside over meetings and

take final decisions with other leaders

  1. Deputy president- Acts as a guide and back-up for the president
  2. Secretary- he is responsible for writing the minutes of the meeting,

drafting objectives, keeping track of goals and activities of the club

  1. Financial Secretary/Treasurer: should be responsible for keeping

accurate financial records of the club

  1. Communication Secretary: is responsible for sending out meeting

reminders and invitations as well as publicizing the goals and activities of

the club to members of the school community.

  1. Membership Officer: is responsible for maintaining member records and

developing member recruitment strategies for the club

  1. Event/Organising Secretary: is responsible for initiating and executing

exciting and interesting road safety events for the club continually

  1. Provost: is responsible for maintaining order and discipline in the club

especially during meetings

  1. Staff advisor/Patron: is responsible for advising and guiding club

members especially in taking decisions and programming activities in the

club
