NOTE
GYMNASTICS
Gymnastics is an integral component of physical education in which stunts, tumbling and apparatus work are executed to strengthen various muscles and increase flexibility.
Some examples of gymnastics are crab walk, cat crawl, duck walk, frog jump, forward roll, backward roll, headstand etc.
LOCOMOTOR MOVEMENTS
These movements require movement from one place to another. Some examples of locomotor movement are walking running, jumping, skipping, hopping, leaping and dodging
NON LOCOMOTOR MOVEMENTS
These movements are made while standing at a spot. Some examples of non-locomotor movements are catching, sitting, lying down, lifting, standing, pushing, pulling, bending and stretching
