Location Igbo Ukwu:

Igbo Ukwu is an ancient town located in Anambra State, southeastern Nigeria. It is situated near Awka, the state capital, and is one of the notable historic sites in Igboland.

 

Origin of Igbo Ukwu:

Igbo Ukwu is renowned for its historical significance as an archaeological site that dates back to the 9th century. It is believed to be one of the earliest centers of advanced civilization in West Africa.
