PROCESSES OF SOCIALIZATION

  1. Education- this involves the various earning processes by which a

society transmits its knowledge, skills, customs and values from one

generation to another. It could be formal or informal

  1. Apprenticeship-this is a situation whereby a person learns a skill, trade,

practice, value, profession, customs, system or an activity mostly to earn a

living

  1. Imitation- This is copying another individual’s actions
  2. Language- it is the means through which culture is transmitted from
