INTRODUCTION

Positions of prepositions

1.   A preposition is always placed at the end of the sentence when the object is relative pronoun(that) e.g

A.  It is the bus that I am waiting for

B.  This is the novel that I have been talking about

C.  This is the hotel that I stayed in

2.   The preposition must be placed at the end when the object is an Interrogative pronoun e.g

A.  What are you thinking about?

B.  Who are you waiting for?

C.  What are you so serious about?

3.   The preposition must be placed at the end when the relative pronoun is understood e.g

A.  I want to know the person you borrowed the book from

B.  Do you know the things she is interested in

C.  Let me know the problem you are always worried about.
