HISTORICAL SITES
Historical sites are sites of ancient monuments, and very significant to the history of a nation. It is an official location where pieces of political, military, cultural or social history ahs been preserved due to their cultural heritage value.

NOTE
NOK PEOPLE
The Nok culture was one of the earliest known societies of Western Africa. The use of iron, in smelting and forging tools, appeared in Nok culture by at least 550B.C to 500A.D. Nok is a village in Jaba Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Nigeria.
Nok is located East of the Niger River and North of the Benue River which is today North Central Nigeria.
The Nok culture is an early Iron age population whose material remains are named after the Ham village of Nok in Kaduna State.
The Ham people are found predominantly in Jaba, Kachia and Kagarko Local Government areas of Southern Kaduna, Nigeria. They speak the Hyam language and refer to themselves as Ham.
Nok Art refers to huge human, animal and other figures made out of terracotta pottery.
