According to WHO(World Health Organization), Health is defined as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being of a person not just the mere absence of diseases and infirmities.
DETERMINANTS OF HEALTH
- a dirty environment produces germs and disease carrying organisms
- a hot environment can cause skin cancer
- a smoky environment can cause respiratory diseases e.g asthma, whooping cough etc
- a noisy environment can cause deafness
