COMPONENTS/CONTENTS OF A FIRST AID KIT/BOX

First aid box is a collection of supplies and equipment that are used in

providing temporal medical treatment before adequate medical treatment is

obtained

The school’s first aid kit should have the following components/contents

  1. non-alcohol antiseptic wipes
  2. band-aid
  3. cotton buds
  4. cotton wool
  5. gauze
  6. saline solution
  7. dressings
  8. plastic tweezers
  9. adhesive tape
  10. goggles or eye-protection object
  11. surgical mask
  12. trauma shears
  13. lighter for sanitizing tweezers
  14. flash light
  15. hand sanitizers
  16. paracetamol tablets or syrup
  17. space blanket
  18. anti-fungal cream
  19. irrigation syringe
  20. anti-itch ointment
  21. thermometer
