COCOA DRINKS
Cocoa beans are seeds obtained from the cocoa tree. When ripe the beans are fermented and the dried.
beans can be used for the production of different beverages.
Preparation of Cocoa drinks. These are usually prepared by dissolving the desired quantity in a cup. The
addition of sugar and milk are optional.
TEA
Tea is produced from leaves of the shrub Tea senensis.

All the utensils used must be clean. Pre heat the tea pot by pouring boiling water into if for sometime and
then pouring it out. Put the tea bag into the hot tea pot and pour boiling water over it. Infuse for about
five minutes. Pour out at once after infusion
Addition of milk and sugar is optional.

Coffee
Coffee seeds are obtained from the matured plant whose seeds known as coffee beans are roasted and
milled.

Heat the coffee pot with boiling water. When thoroughly hot, pour out the water and put in the coffee.
One table spoon of coffee to each pint of water. Bring the water to the boil and immediately pour it
over the coffee in the pot and leave in a warm place for 5 minutes strain before serving. Coffee can be
served with or without sugar and milk.
