CONTENT  

Importance of soil to animals

  1. Soil provides a home to many animals.
  2. All animals get their energy from soil, either by eating plants or by eating animals that have eaten plants.

Environmental importance of soil

  1. Soil filters our water.
  2. Provide essential nutrients for our forests and crops.
  3. Soil help regulate the earth’s temperature.
  4. Soil act drainage by absorbing rain water therefore preventing erosion.
