SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to;
a Recognize, read and spell the ‘ck’ sounds
ENENTRY BEHAVIOR : Pupils can identify all alphabets letters and long and short vowel sounds
SET INDUCTION : The teachers uses the phonics songs 'We are clicking castanets' to arouse the interest of the pupils
INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNIQUES : Discussion, group activities,
INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS : Flash cards, phonics sound chart, audiovisual clips of the phonics sound/song, pictures of objects with the 'ck' sound

PERIOD 1 AND 2: Recognition, spelling and reading the ‘ck’ sound
