SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to;

  1. Recognize, read and spell the ‘ch’  and  ‘sh’ sounds

ENTRY BEHAVIOR : Pupils can identify and recite all the letters of the alphabets and the vowels

SET INDUCTION : The teachers uses the ‘Trains are chugging up the hill’ and ‘Hush! Hush! Hush!’ song to arouse the pupils

INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNIQUES : Discussion, group activities, 

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS : Objects with the ‘ch’ and ‘sh’ sounds, chart showing objects with the ‘ch’ and ‘sh’ sound, white board, dry erase marker, clue cards
