LEARNING OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, Pupils should be able to:

  1. Identify safety rules in running, walking, pushing, and kicking. INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: pictures, charts, etc.

BUILDING BACKGROUND/CONNECTION TO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE:

Pupils are familiar with the topics in their previous topic.

CONTENT

Safety rules

Safety means to be free from danger.

Safety rules on the playground Ways to make the playground safe are:

  1. Removing dangerous objects
  2. Remove every dangerous object on the playground.
  3. Drop such objects in the waste bin.
  4. Look at the ground to see that it is free from any other object. Use of partners as support
  5. Get a partner.
  6. Make your partner ready to support you.
  7. Let your partner support you as you do the exercise.

Some safety rules

  1. Do only the exercise that the teacher asks you to do.
  2. Do exercise only when the teacher is present.
  3. Do exercise gently and do not rush.
  4. Stop doing exercise when you are weak.
  5. Do not do exercise that will be too difficult for you.
