CONTENT : Writing Jolly phonics sounds qu, ou, oi, ue, er, ar
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to;
ENTRY BEHAVIOR : Pupils can identify all the Group 7 letter sounds
SET INDUCTION : The teachers uses the phonics songs of all the Group 7 letter sounds to arouse the interest of the pupils
INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNIQUES : Singing, storytelling, playway, gestures/demonstration,gestures, explanation and repetition
INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS : Flash cards, phonics sound chart, audiovisual clips of the phonics sound/song, pictures of objects with the Group 4 Phonics sounds, cardboards, crayons/coloured pencils, scissors, paper tape, trace patterns of qu-ar

PERIOD 1 AND 2: Copy, tracing and writing letter sounds qu-oi
