The Visiting Day

It was the visiting day. The pupils were excited. They were at the children’s boarding school. once every month, their families were excepted and allowed to visit them. Some cars were coming in through the drive way into the school premises.

            Chinwe and Tunrayo were in primary five. They were expecting their family members to arrive. Mrs Abu entered the common room to announce the arrival of their families. The two girls were glad. They chatted happily as they went out to meet their families.

            Chinwe’s father, mother and two brothers – Osagie and Chukwudi – were all around to visit her. Tunrayo’s uncle, aunt and three cousins – Babatunde, Muyiwa and Olayinka also paid her a visit.
